So…I got bored and colored my hair..and I do this a lot. But, I have learned that since I do like to change my hair color so often that I should start using demi or semi permanent.

Demi or Semi permanent hair color usually fades dramatically or rinses out completely within 6-8 washes depending on what brand you use. A few weeks ago I used a Manic Panic dark violet color that was semi permanent and I was worried that one would stain my hair but it faded really nicely right back to my original color.

*Side Note: My hair was ombred to around a medium golden blonde.. probably around a level 6. I think a lot of these funky colors work best on a much lighter blonde tone that isn’t too warm or cool. I was actually going for a deeper grey with a heavy blue undertone but my hair was just too yellow and it turned this teal color.

I mixed Aqua and Titanium together, the picture to the right is of the color in my mixing bowl and it’s unedited so the amount of color you see is true to how intense it was in person!

All in all, I’m not in love with the color but it’s fun to experiment and maybe by the next hair post I will have achieved my “Pintrest Dream Color”  that probably doesn’t exist in real life but I’m sure all keep trying anyways!
